Scientific Sessions: Your catalyst for learning

NewOrleans_505394545Scientific Sessions 2015 was packed with education, networking and impactful science. But it’s never too early to plan your learning and involvement at Scientific Sessions 2016, whether you decide to submit abstracts for inclusion in next year’s programming or participate in any of AHA’s 2016 Specialty Conferences.

New Orleans hosts annual meeting

One of the nation’s most popular travel destinations, New Orleans will host Scientific Sessions 2016, to be held Nov. 12-16, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

The resilience of the people of New Orleans was never more tested than after Hurricane Katrina, but the people of New Orleans are a living, breathing testament to the rich heritage of the Crescent City.

Since the Aug. 29, 2005, hurricane, the city has made great strides to become a much sought-after destination. “N’awlins” beckons visitors to indulge in its diverse ambiance. The city’s intertwining culture, cuisine, art and music paint a charming picture. After all, in the Big Easy, the expression of choice is “laissez les bons temps rouler” or let the good times roll.

Call for Abstracts

Participate in next year’s science by submitting your novel research findings during the Call for Abstracts, April 20-June 8. The work covered by the abstract must not have been published (manuscript or abstract) or presented at a national or international meeting before the date and time of the presentation (Nov. 12-16, 2016).
