How to network at Scientific Sessions 2016

eP2_Story3A vital component of Scientific Sessions is the unique networking you’ll gain from meeting face-to-face with colleagues from around the world. The personal connections you make will bolster you to take your career goals a step further. Join us Nov. 12-16 in New Orleans, and you’ll grow your professional network. Here’s how.

Check out networking opportunities with your council at Scientific Sessions 2016. Most of the councils offer special networking events to meet your needs, such as early career sessions, award competitions, memorial lectures and council dinners. Check the schedule for your council’s specific activities with times and locations.

If you’re not already a member, join AHA/ASA. Membership unlocks year-round access to more than 33,000 like-minded professionals — the prefect way to network with others in your specialty. Plus, membership gives you the opportunity to participate in committees and hold leadership roles.

Last, but certainly not least, take advantage of the many other networking opportunities held during Scientific Sessions that are located in the Science & Technology Hall. Network at EP Central and Interventional Central, attend the Celebrating Science Reception and test your skills at the Simulation Zone. Also, be sure to stop by Meet the Trialists to speak with key investigators of some of the largest cardiovascular trials in 2016, and charge up your devices in our WIFI- Charging Lounge.
