Fogarty International Center celebrates milestone at Sessions

The American Heart Association and Fogarty International Center at National Institutes of Health share a common goal: to extend the frontiers of basic, clinical and applied health research and science across the globe. This year, Fogarty marks its 50th year, and we’re celebrating this achievement at AHA Scientific Sessions 2017.

Tuesday, Nov. 14, the AHA is hosting an afternoon of sessions showcasing both ongoing and future programs at the Fogarty International Center that promote the global health agenda into the 21st century and encourage young academics to pursue global health research in their own specialties.
