Grow your professional network at AHA Scientific Sessions 2017

You come to AHA Scientific Sessions for the innovative cardiology research and educational sessions, no question. But a key benefit of attending November’s annual meeting is building invaluable relationships and the unmatched networking opportunities. This level of face-to-face interactions — in which you can share ideas with peers and make new connections with mentors and presenters — cannot be matched. Here are a few of the many networking opportunities available.

Meet the Trialists

Connect with select researchers about Late-Breaking Science sessions in a casual setting. Researchers will provide additional insights and answer your questions about the science sessions.

EP Central

Engage with electrophysiologists and others interested in EP in this networking and learning hub devoted to the specialty. The area offers non-CME accredited educational activities, career development activities and information relevant to the EP community across the AHA.

Interventional Central

Interventionalists can gather in the Science & Technology Hall to lounge, network and participate in career development discussions and educational, engaging programming that includes a global game show and challenging cases.

The AHA will be honoring those whose abstracts have been accepted at the Celebrate Basic Science Reception on Sunday, Nov. 12. Attend to recognize the best of basic science abstracts, as well as late-breaking science abstracts.

  • Early Career Engagement Lounge
Discover mentoring opportunities and connect with conference attendees in comfort both in-person or on social media as you can watch the conversation in real time on our social media wall. Supported by the AHA/ASA Journals.
  • FAHA Lounge
Fellows of the American Heart Association will have their own lounge to network with peers, relax and recharge. Coffee will be available Sunday-Tuesday from 8 to 11 a.m.
